Carol Stream, Ill. – July 9, 2019 – Winter is coming, is just one of the many bold sessions you can hear at the Constructech annual Technology Days Conference, taking place on August 21 – 22, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago – Arlington Heights, Ill.
Michael Oster, founder of Gemba Technologies will discuss construction sales and backlogs and how they are at an all-time high. Without radical change, companies will fall short of their short-term revenue goals and the industry will not meet heightened expectations. In addition to a lack of skilled labor, he says, the industry will face the perfect storm.
Oster will be speaking on Thursday, August 22, alongside of tracks that include other knowledgeable speakers talking on topics such as sustainability, safety, new materials, and other topics that are challenging the industry.
“I am pleased that we continue to add enlightened speakers to our Technology Days event, who bring a unique perspective to the challenges at hand,” says Peggy Smedley, editorial director, Constructech magazine, and president of Specialty Publishing Media. “These thought-provoking discussions are designed to engage discourse, insight, and, perhaps most importantly, tangible strategies that construction executives can take home with them and implement.”
The two-day event, with two tracks, one focusing on the U.S. and the other on global, will look at building sustainable cities of tomorrow, leveraging innovative technology, constructing future infrastructure, and gathering insights into reducing the labor shortage.
